AI Is More Than a Chat Interface

AI Automation Agents

The most interesting opportunity in AI isn't just asking better questions. It's building systems that can take action.

We're moving from tools that generate text toward systems that can interpret context, interact with APIs, execute workflows, and help people complete real tasks.

Imagine an AI agent that investigates an integration failure, gathers relevant logs, identifies a likely root cause, and prepares a proposed solution. Or a workflow that transforms a business requirement into a technical specification and a test plan.

These ideas become valuable when AI is connected to real systems, reliable data, and well-defined processes.

Of course, autonomy alone isn't enough. Good AI systems also need guardrails, validation, observability, and clear boundaries around what they can change.

I'm particularly interested in exploring how AI agents and workflow automation can reduce repetitive work and make software systems easier to operate.

The goal isn't to add AI everywhere. It's to remove friction where it matters most.
